1259--GEORGE W. PEFLEY, (son of Samuel & Hannah Stover Peffley ) married Jan. 31st,
1856 at Ladoga, SARAH SHARP. He died in April of 1860. Sadly, the Peffley children below didn't know their father :(

Note: Sarah is alone with her two daughtesr in the 1860 NewWinchester, Hendricks County, Indiana Family #1411
Age 22 - Martha E. 4 and Mary C. 2 - wonder if she was pregnant with Goerge ? How sad.
I do not find her in 1870 but in 1880 she is still living in Hendricks County with 2nd husband, James H. Nevels -- George W. Pephley 19 is with them as is an Emma V. Pephley age 16 -- in 1860 she was living with Samuel & Hannah, so evidently George W. died quite young pre 1860.
